Get Up!!!

“Crash or Burn” is one of the most interesting compositions in the lineup as it aims to display a collective mindset by featuring three vocalist alternating parts throughout the entire song. To pull off such an audacious song, Founder and Architect of AO (As One) William L. teamed up with vocalist Zida Lioness, Shanelle Riana and Dabriel Moore, and also worked alongside Producer Daniel Fitzpatrick to get everything just right.

“Crash or Burn” was originally written to be sung by my cousins to my cousins. Being that we were a musical family, It was suppose to serve as our way of saying that we understand each other and that no matter how hard one of us fall we must always decide to get up together. It’s such a strong message that I never got the chance to deliver to my family so I moved it to this project and used the AOF (As One Family) to deliver it to the world.

Not much has changed about the composition “Crash or Burn” since its conception. Aside from standard enhancements; the arrangement, instrumentation and lyrical content all hold just as much power and truth to them today as they did nearly ten years ago. If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn it’s that “Our failure are inevitable but our acceptance of them is a choice”.
