Communication Through Dance!

When a performance is attempting to tell a story to an audience comprised of nearly every demographic from all walks of life, its success or failure will always be dependent on its ability to universally translate. And in the world of arts, nothing is more translative than the art of dance. So in the winter of 2020, while As One Music & Entertainment got the green light to begin writing the story, Founder and Architect William L. went searching for its linguist, to which he found in Ms. Alicia Sunshine.

Before I initiated the project, I was receiving private consultations from brilliant stage performer and instructor Ms. Alicia Like. During one of our sessions, I had asked for recommendations for a dancer and she directed me to Ms. Alicia Sunshine. I watched every video she had and they were amazing. Her movements were powerful, her body control was incredible and I just felt as if her energy was right for the temperament of the song. I knew she was it.
