"Taylor Made" Bass

In the world of music throughout the Midwest Shawn Taylor of “Taylor Made Music” is considered to be one of the greatest bassists still doing it. Having always been a staple and major supporter of the electrifying music scene in and around his hometown of St. Louis MO, it was of no surprise that when Founder and Architect of As One Music & Entertainment William L., had announced that he would be starting his journey to complete his debut project, Mr. Taylor was at the forefront ready to lend a hand.

I already knew I had to get him to play on “Skywalkers” cause of how bass dependent I wanted the song to be. So, during a recording session we were doing for Ms. Lioness, I brought it to him, of course he said yes, but at the time all I had for him to record to was a kick drum. I gave him the concept; pressed record and let him do the rest. To know that he was able to do all of what he did on “Skywalkers” with nothing but a concept and a kick drum is mind blowing.

Shawn Taylor has played with the greats and is certified as a legend. To see him collaborate with William L., so early on, speaks volumes about not only the potential of the upcoming project from the AOF (As One Family) but of its primary creator as well.
